Job Overview:

We are looking for a high quality AI Product manager with a strong technology background in AI domain, including NPU hardware design, Gen AI algorithm (LLM/LVM/MLLM/ViT/DiT etc.) and traditional AI/ML algorithm (CNN/RNN/LSTM/Unet etc.) in camera/audio/game/video areas. The individual will be helping design our NPU hardware to be more flexible/efficient/appropriate to meet China OEMs/Partners requirements and future marketing trend.

Responsibilities include:

• Execution of Qualcomm AI product & technology road-map in support of the BU vision and strategic technical plan in partnership with Engineering, Marketing, Business Developer and Sales team.
• Help define and execute Snapdragon AI strategy in China, and responsible for managing China specific product requirements from OEMs and other partners, especially mapping such requirement to hardware spec and help Qualcomm future NPU hardware design (scalar/vector/tensor units, on-chip memory hierarchy, scheduling engines etc.).
• From SOC design perspective, driving an efficient heterogeneous computing system among NPU/CPU/GPU/ISP by hardware-software co-design to help improve E2E user experience.
• Manage customer and partner relationship and explore new AI opportunity (new product, software feature etc.) on our future platforms.
• Identify and anticipate key market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to product planning activities for Snapdragon AI.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Planning/Development within wireless, telecommunications or semiconductor industry.
• Highly experienced in NPU architecture design and familiar with the semiconductor industry supply chain.
• Good knowledge on SoC integration spec: clock/reset, power, NPU/CPU/GPU/ISP coherency and thermal throttling etc..
• Strong technical knowledge of AI/ML, especially Gen AI relative knowledge (LLM/LVM/MLLM/ViT/DiT) is required.
• Ability to drive projects effectively in a cross-functional, international team
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory
• Must be able to quickly understand complex concepts, simplify and translate them for a variety of audiences, and communicate them very clearly and effectively.
• Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese as well as exceptionally strong English language skill is a firm requirement. The ideal candidate will be expected to be able to give presentations to large audiences on AI/ML topics in either English or Mandarin.
• Frequent business travel is a requirement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in the silicon industry will be a strong plus.
• Experience of AI H/W, framework and Gen AI is a strong plus.
• Experience of AI in multimedia is a plus.

Education Requirements:

Required: Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering.Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. OR
  Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
  OR
  High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
