The Senior Manager, Store Design, plays a crucial role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of global store design projects. This role ensures that all store design initiatives, from concept and store planning to in-store execution are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the brand's creative and commercial goals. The role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration with Global VM and Creative teams, Regional VM and Store Design teams, as well as Product and Marketing teams to drive efficiency and innovation in customer experience. This role requires a design savvy and technically sound Interior Designer/Architect with superior 3D rendering capabilities, capable of leading a project team through task(s) inception to finish, able to juggle multiple projects, and take direction from multiple stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and manage functional design studies based on, and in addition to, initial concept direction from internal Creative partners and in support of design direction provided by the Sr. Director, Store Design, Global Brand Environments. Projects will range from global concepts to high-profile locations of retail/wholesale stores, showrooms, and fixture programs
- Manage, and collaborate in, a design team (whether internal and/or external) to produce concept and/or design development drawings (3D models, plans, elevations, sections, renderings, architectural details, fixture details, etc.), directives, and manuals as needed. Make certain that same are designed in a manner consistent with brand aesthetics and best retail practice
- Work with the Sr. Director, Store Design, Global Brand Environments, members of the Global Brand Environments team (Creative Experience, Visual Merchandising), and other Calvin Klein departments as needed to assess conceptual and programmatic requirements and develop an ongoing positive exchange of concept ideas and design options. Communicate effectively with the same to ensure cross functional projects and calendars remain aligned and coordinated clearly
- Work closely with Global Store Development and Regional Store Design teams on development of bespoke flagship store locations. Bespoke concepts to be developed/spearheaded in collaboration with Creative Experience team. Support through architectural development, fabrication, and installation to be given to Global and Regional Store Development teams
- When applicable, meet with and present to leadership members to clearly convey design concepts and development updates of the same. Receive feedback constructively and disseminate, adjust accordingly
- Manage outside vendors (lighting designers, design architects, prototype contractors, etc.) as required to support timely delivery of global creative direction
- Where applicable, assist with the prototyping of store and fixture concepts as well as review and report on same to ensure the design intent is realized within construction/fabrication realities and leadership feedback
- Ensure that projects are complete and comprehensive with respect to documentation and workflow requirements as established by Calvin Klein
- Continue to test, learn and adapt designs per business needs and strategies. Work within best practices to streamline workflows and collaborations
- Maintain orderly and accessible records of all design projects for ongoing reference
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
- 7+ years’ experience in store planning and design, including fixture design & detailing (in CADD) and 3D conceptualization (in Sketchup)
- Experience with construction and/or fabrication is ideal
- Proficiency reviewing millwork shop drawings and architectural technical drawings is required
- Excellent proficiency sourcing inspiration imagery/ideas, materials/finishes/decoratives, and conceptualizing/ideating
- Experience in apparel (and accessory) retail a must
- Possess high aesthetics and a keen eye for high quality, commercially viable, elevated store design and experience. Strong ability to understand CK aesthetic lens and conceptualize/ideate relevantly
- Strong ability to source materials, finishes, and decorative items
- Excellent proficiency working in design/drawing programs – Autocadd, Sketchup, VRay, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and balance of Adobe suite
- General understanding of apparel merchandising principles and typical retail operations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and millwork shop drawings
- Ability to detail fixtures and architectural details
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and remain flexible to change
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong team management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in standard office programs (e.g., Asana, Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Pay Range:$125,100---$169,300
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
