This is a hybrid position located in Coppell, TX, a suburb of Dallas.JOB SUMMARY

The Title Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the title production processes by optimizing workflows, ensuring quality control, managing a team of title professionals, collaborating with internal and external partners, and staying compliant with industry regulations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides strong leadership to the title production team, setting clear expectations, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Implements and oversees quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness in base building, title searches and examinations.

  • Stays involved with regulatory compliance about federal and state regulations governing title production, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.

  • Leverages technology solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the title production process.

  • Develops and implements training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the title production team.

  • Facilitates open and effective communication within the team, ensuring that all members are well informed and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Interacts with customers to understand their needs, address inquiries, and ensures customer satisfaction in the title production process.

  • Manages relationships with title search vendors, abstractors, and other relevant service providers to ensure the availability of accurate and timely information.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the title production process, implementing strategies for enhanced efficiency.

  • Generates reports on title production metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and areas of improvement.

  • Assess and manage risks associated with title production, implementing measures to mitigate potential challenges.

  • Ensure that the title production team adheres to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

  • Stays updated on technological advancements in the title insurance industry and integrates relevant technologies to improve the title production process.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

With Direct Reports:

  • Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs

  • Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent

  • Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills

  • Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance

  • Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities

  • Creates opportunities for employee growth

  • Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in roles related to title searches, examinations, and policy issuance.

  • Time in position: Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience

  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve processes.

  • Underwriting knowledge.

  • Ability to determine proper resolution of title examination issues.

  • Effective research skills and ability to use title searching software (i.e.,

  • Data Tree, DATATrace and FASTSearch)

  • Effective communication, presentation, and organization

  • Knowledge of real estate law and title & escrow curative procedures

  • A customer-centric approach, ensuring that title production processes meet clients’ needs and expectations.

  • Experience in assessing and managing risks associated with title production.
