Become a critical member of the North America Beauty multi-functional team, working on a well known brand. Help lead media relations, issues management, and community management. Use technology, digital, and social skills to further drive our beauty brands to be present where consumers are today and connect in a meaningful way. Must have a passion for the beauty industry.

We are looking for this person to join our Communications organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. In communications, we use our skills to communicate with consumers and stakeholders through media relations, social media, social cause, sustainability, issues mitigation, and influencer relations.

Media Relations:

  • Lead overarching earned media strategy for the brand, including responding to real time media inquiries to ensure minimal disruption to the brand and/or capitalize on brand building opportunities

Brand Communications Plans:

  • End-to-end ownership of brand communication for one our biggest beauty brands

  • Communicate initiative ideas in a consumer meaningful and shareable way that builds the business

  • Develop credentialing and awards strategy to continue to credential our brand, build relationships, and protect our business

Issues Management:

  • Build proactive mitigation plans for initiatives, future product design, brand visualization, product changes, and packaging

  • Respond to real time escalated social and in market issues to ensure minimal disruption to the brand

  • Manage up and cross-functional team members to gain input and share critical information

Community Management and Connections:

  • Lead community management strategy – inclusive of fan loyalty, organic content, consumer response and insight mining

  • Lead social media innovation and execution, inclusive of new platforms and evolutions on current platforms

GEO:

  • Lead the brand’s GEO strategy as well as execution of efforts

We are looking for driven individuals who have a passion for:

  • Media relations and creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with national, local and trade media

  • Storytelling and co-creating compelling and inclusive content that reaches and resonates with consumers

  • Building and managing relationships with key stakeholders to solve business problems

  • Collaboration with cross-functional team members and agency partners

  • Social media channels and digital capabilities

  • Clear and concise writing

  • A self-starter attitude and ability to lead a team

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and digital influencers

  • Strong understanding of influencers and media

  • Strong written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous work in public relations, including media (ideally 5-8 years)

Starting Pay/Salary Range: $110,000 – $165,300

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
