Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior SAP BW on HANA Developer to join our diverse team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data models, reports, and dashboards using SAP BW on HANA. You will develop, test, and maintain SAP BW on HANA solutions that meet business requirements and improve our data analytics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust SAP BW on HANA data models to support diverse business reporting needs.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data into SAP BW on HANA.
  • Construct and optimize queries for seamless data extraction and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain SAP BW on HANA data ADSOs (Sophisticated Data Store Objects) and info providers.
  • Collaborate closely with business users to capture requirements and ensure solutions align with strategic business objectives.
  • Perform performance tuning and proactive monitoring of SAP BW on HANA systems to ensure efficient functionality.
  • Conduct detailed testing and fixing of SAP BW on HANA solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate understanding of BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), including knowledge of Planning Function, Sequence, and Planning ADSO.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring a smooth experience with SAP BW on HANA solutions.

Job Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 6+ proven expertise in SAP BW on HANA data modeling and development practices.
  • Solid understanding of SAP BW on HANA architecture and industry standard methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP HANA Studio, SAP BW Query Designer, and SAP BEx Analyzer.
  • Familiarity with data extraction techniques from both SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Proficient in SQL and knowledgeable in performance optimization techniques within SAP BW on HANA.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical partners effectively.
  • Analytical attitude with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Certification in SAP BW on HANA is a plus, but not required.
