Manager, Solution Engineering

An awesome candidate is highly technical who is also comfortable with dealing with enterprise customers. You will join a team of Solution Engineers focused on the Mellanox Networking, DGX Platforms, Container Orchestrators, Deep Learning containers, and other Enterprise related system software. The Solution Engineering Manager helps customers with their most complex problems, manages EMEA Solution Engineering team, align tasks and efforts with overall R&D and product teams. In addition, The Manager drives global technical alignment by collaborating with cross-geographical teams to ensure a consistent, world-class customer experience. This individual should have proven grasp of datacenter and networking technologies, to provide comprehensive solutions for complex customer's incidents together with high skill management expertise.
What you'll be doing:

Team Leadership and Development: guide, mentor, and expand your SE team, ensuring the team delivers high-impact technical solutions and clears complex technical roadblocks for our largest enterprise customers.

Work with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal users to improve the availability, reliability, and overall experience of working with NVIDIA Networking products.

Oversees the effectiveness and progress of Networking SE team world-wide and collaborate with other SE teams located in different GEOs.

Bring independent analysis, communication, and problem-solving to customer experience.

Collaborate with numerous R&D teams as well as Product Managers, Customer PMs, other AE teams, etc.
What we need to see:
-
BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

10+ overall years system/software development and troubleshooting experience, ideally with some customer facing.

3+ years of team management experience in building and leading highly performing teams.

Experience developing with C/C++ in kernel and/or application space and/or embedded software.

Very good familiarity with Linux OS (tools, utilities, kernel functionality).

Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, flexibility, analytical ability, self-motivation, and team-oriented.

Proven ability to lead and mentor software engineering teams.

Professional-level communication skills, interpersonal skills with a passion to solve problems.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Support experience with CSPs or Hyperscale data center environments, with an understanding of the unique operational and scale challenges inherent to these customers.

Server related areas familiarity such as Virtualization, HW offloads, Network Acceleration libs, Storage, Performance, etc.

Experience in solving problems in large-scale network environments with overlay technologies and various networking protocols.

Clustering or HPC Data-Center technologies familiarity including Upper Layer Protocols (i.e., NCCL, MPI/UCX).
