Senior Supplier Quality Engineer - PCB at NVIDIA

We are looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team leading all aspects of quality for a range of product segments throughout the life of the product. As part of the Operations Supplier Quality team, your main role will be establishing a working relationship with your supplier, collaborating with suppliers on problem resolutions/complaints, and you will be the voice of the supplier to the internal teams.
What you will be doing:

Handle and lead all aspects of the factory quality on site of manufacturers, including NPI and mass production.

Ensure manufacturers stay in sync with quality requirements of NVIDIA products.

Conduct regular supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
-
Lead and facilitate problem-solving and root cause analysis activities to address quality issues with manufacturers.
-
Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards to track and supervise supplier quality performance.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers, implementing process improvements and collaborating on corrective actions.

Work closely with multi-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Engineer, and Supplier Chain to ensure effective supplier quality management.
What we need to see:

Bachelor's Degree or above in Chemistry, Material or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Quality role.

Shown experience in CM/supplier quality management, including supplier selection, evaluation, and development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, successfully collaborating with suppliers and internal partners.
-
Show leadership skills, lead multi-functional teams and get results.
-
Experienced in quality task management, with the ability to lead multiple quality projects simultaneously.
-
Strong dedication to continuous improvement and driving excellence in CM/supplier quality.
-
ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO22301, IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, and VDA6.3 audit experience.
-
Certificate of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-6012 etc. IPC standard.
Ways to stand out of a crowd:

Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes such as Etching, Coating, Film, etc.

Knowledge of reliability standards at PCB, PCBA, or system level.
-
Experience working in the PCB industry with in-depth knowledge of solving or debugging PCB issues.
-
Understanding of SMT and PCBA manufacturing practices and controls.
-
Proven history of developing close working relationships with supplier quality teams and using structured problem solving to find solutions to their issues. and you are a domain expert with a deep understanding of a process, function, technology, material, or other area.
