Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a *Supply Chain Logistics Specialist. *This position is located in Ogden, UT supporting the Sentinel program.
What you'll get to do:
In this role, you will provide technical, tactical, and execution support in various aspects of industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily supply chain production and supply chain logistics, as well as supply chain business operations.

• Manage the shipping and receipt of goods, including opening packages, verifying quantities, and confirming accurate item delivery

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage concurrent projects and timelines.

• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels

• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

• Manage the cycle count process, performing cycle counts and resolving discrepancies, including inventory in the warehouse, as well as in work-in-progress (WIP) areas.

• Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives. This may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week)

• Ability to operate a sit-down Forklift Ability to operate a Reach truck Ability to operate a cargo van or similar vehicle

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 0 years of relevant experience or an additional 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Current ERP experience in Systems Applications Processes (SAP)

• Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in operating a forklift and other types of material moving equipment

• Hazmat and Ammunition & Explosives (A&E) experience/certification is highly desired

• Experience with classified program requirements

• Experience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory

• Experience with inventory management

• Familiarity and experience with audits from Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Management Agency Safety (DCMAS), Defense Contract Management Agency Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

  This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
  Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
