Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our team of high performing and diverse professionals. This position is a hybrid position based in Mc Lean, Virginia. The selected candidate will work independently and together with teammates on multiple Government Compliance activities.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Interpret federal, state, and other regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other practices and procedures
· Facilitate and/or own sections of the indirect cost review program
· Facilitate and/or own the sector’s labor oversight activity
· Assist in the develop and/or updating of compliance related trainings, e.g., cost allowability, labor, to increase employee awareness and knowledge
· Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
· Contribute to other Government Compliance tasks, projects, and process improvement activities
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
· Must have one of the following:
High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of government contracting related experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost Estimating, Program Control, or other Business Management activity
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 5 years of government contracting related experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost Estimating, Program Control, or other Business Management activity
o Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 3 years of government contracting related experience in Auditing, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Pricing/Cost Estimating, Program Control, or other Business Management activity
· Basic understanding of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, and Agency FAR supplements
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
· Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications
· DCAA audit or internal cost review experience
· Aerospace/Defense industry experience in business management functions including indirect rates, accounting, and/or billing
· Ability to effectively manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Self-motivated with a proven ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced team environment
· Strong communication skills to successfully work across line and functional businesses at various levels and disciplines
Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
