Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a C2 Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineering Manager 3 to be located in Roy, UT. Relocation assistance may be provided.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will lead a team responsible for Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis activities for the Command & Launch C2 Element, ensuring effective coordination with C2 System Engineering, Hardware, Software, Test Teams, and Command & Launch Segment System Engineering Teams. This role involves overseeing systems and design engineering analysis, defining functional and performance requirements, and guiding the modeling and simulation of design solutions. The position also includes EVMS Responsibilities within the scope of work outlined.
The candidate will support engineers in producing comprehensive technical presentations for milestone meetings, ensuring preparedness to meet all criteria. Additionally, they will identify and drive updates for required contractual deliverables, manage the technical baseline across engineering teams, and lead a high-performing group of engineers across various subdisciplines.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience or Masters in STEM and 6 years related experience
-
Experience with Modeling Simulation and Analysis
-
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years (or in continues evaluation)
-
U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
-
Strong Understanding of Modeling Simulation and Analysis Principles
-
Experience with Department of Defense and/or Missile Systems
-
Experience with Systems Engineering including analytical requirement decomposition, verification, validation, and functional analysis

Minimum 3 Years Experience Leading a Team
-
Minimum 3 Year Experience with Modeling Simulation and Analysis
-
Experience with System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools
-
Experience with Model Based System Engineering with DOORS or CAMEO and an understanding of DODAF and SysML
-
Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
-
Demonstrated technical writing experience in both authoring and reviewing formal analysis documentation; strong ability to verbally communicate technical content to senior engineering leadership
-
Demonstrated experience working with customers and senior leadership to ensure project success
Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
