Location: Wroclaw

Our team develops the Simics platform – an advanced virtualization environment that enables running real software on simulated hardware. This allows Nokia engineers to design and test new radio solutions even before physical prototypes are built, significantly reducing time to market.

As an intern, you will help create a tool that forms the foundation of the virtual development process at one of the world's largest telecommunications companies.

Must-Have:

• Active student status (for at least one year)
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Possibility to a hybrid work from Wroclaw/Krakow office
• Strong basic knowledge and basic experience Python programming
• Strong basic knowledge and basic experience of Linux as a user
• Basic understanding of embedded systems designs and firmware development
• Self-confident, proactive approach (like: searching required knowledge, digging into specification)

Nice-to-Have:

• Practical usage of AI programing tools

• Basic knowledge in electronics and signal processing

• Basic knowledge and basic experience of Robot Framework and/or low level programming

• Learn Simics and later assist Testers in daily work

• Support verification of the Simics models delivered by modelling teams as well as third party companies, ensuring all updates and changes are fully validated before official release

• Contribute to writing, executing and maintaining automated tests to ensure software quality

• Contribute to preparing and maintaining test environments

• Support the team in solving basic engineering problems with guidance from senior engineers
