WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role sits within Converse Global Brand Creative, partnering closely with Brand Creative, Digital Direct, Brand Marketing, Site Experience, Merchandising, and regional teams across the globe. The Sr Manager reports to the Sr Director, Global Brand Creative and collaborates with Sport Category Creative Directors, guiding e‑commerce designers and influencing creative output across all regions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a creative leader with sharp design instincts and strong point of view—someone who knows how to translate culture into commerce without losing authenticity. This person brings deep digital design expertise, a passion for craft, and the confidence to push creative boundaries while delivering against business goals. They understand how consumers move, shop, and connect in digital spaces, and they use insight and trend fluency to keep the Converse brand relevant and iconic.

They are equally comfortable leading concept development, art directing photography, and driving high-volume e‑commerce execution across global markets. Clear communication, collaborative mindset, and an obsession with detail are essential. This role requires balancing bold creative expression with intuitive, shop‑able design that performs across devices and geographies.

You bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in design-related roles, with a strong focus on digital graphic design, branding, and e‑commerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of CSS and JavaScript
  • Proven on-set photo art direction experience and a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and photography leadership
  • Significant experience designing for mobile-first digital environments and global consumer audiences

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll shape how the Converse brand shows up across its most important owned digital channel—converse.com—bringing creative vision to life at scale. From concept to execution, you’ll lead design and copy that connects culture, commerce, and consumer, ensuring every experience feels authentic, elevated, and unmistakably Converse.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the creative vision and expression of the Converse brand across global e‑commerce experiences
  • Partner with Sr Director, Global Brand Creative and Digital Strategy to make converse.com the pinnacle digital destination for the brand
  • Create and evolve graphic standards and creative direction across all global digital touchpoints
  • Design and art direct site creative, photography, email, banners, and the Converse By You customization platform
  • Translate brand and category strategy into clear, compelling digital storytelling that drives engagement and conversion
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Brand Creative, Digital Direct, Marketing, Site Experience, Merchandising, and regional teams
  • Lead production excellence by delivering high‑quality assets, presentations, and toolkits for internal and external partners

We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed. If you discover, as you navigate our application process, that you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please complete the Candidate Accommodation Request Form.
