Job Summary
Provide support to the Materials area through the execution and monitoring of production plans, inventories, assortment, and warehouse. The intern will participate in the review of shipping plans, shipments, and returns, as well as in the management of transactions in the system for the proper administration of the warehouse. Likewise, they will assist in the planning and coordination of shipments, strengthening their learning in logistics and supply chain processes.
The Student 2 materials intern will be based inGuadalajara, North Campus.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Execute and follow up on production plans according to the requirements of the area.
- Support in the control and updating of inventories in the system.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the timely supply of materials.
- Review and follow up on material and finished product shipment plans.
- Support in the coordination and validation of daily shipments.
- Record and follow up on returns in the system.
- Execute material transactions in the system (transfers from one warehouse to another).
- Support in the management and control of basic warehouse operations.
- Prepare and update shipping planning according to the production schedule.
- Verify that the information recorded in the system is correct and up to date.
- Support communication with involved areas (production, logistics, warehouse).
- Generate basic reports on inventories, shipments, and material status for internal follow-up.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (industrial engineering, bachelor's degree or materials engineering or similar)
- Interest in working in supply chain
- Interest in materials planning, warehouse plans, shipping plans
