Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North site this position, you will maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization*.*

What a typical day looks like:

• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
• change documentation when needed to update job instructions and documentation when needed
• Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
• Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.
• Consolidates and reports quality results.
• Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
• Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective actions
• Study and recommend techniques to improve existing products and processes.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.

• Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• PCBA - SMT Experience

• Desirable experience in Plastics and Metals industry.

• Experience in supplier communication and customer service

• Ability to diagnose problems and recommend solutions in assigned area.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing protocols, statistical tools and methodology, and continuous improvement techniques preferred.

• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects.

• Experience similar position
