This position will be based in our Manila office and will be part of our global Accounting team. This position will interact with global teams and will work cross-functionally across time zones with our US and other international offices. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, able to analyze and process large volumes of data with high accuracy, have excellent communication skills, capable of multi-tasking and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Expenditures Accounting team to ensure an accurate and timely financial close for Travel & Expense (T&E) workflows

• Create, modify, and terminate lease subledger records within lease accounting software, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.

• Prepare and post manual journal entries and system-generated integrations (accruals, intercompany reclasses)

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations (balance sheet and intercompany accounts)

• Perform month end, quarter end, year-end close activities.

• Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks to support new initiatives and contribute to the organization’s goals

• Open to work during regular business hours, with flexibility to slide shifts/work overtime to certain critical business periods.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting

• Degree in a relevant field of study

• Experience working within a global/multinational company is preferred

• Highly proficient in Excel (Google sheet experience is a plus)

• Knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems (Workday experience is a plus)

• Must be open to a hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite in Makati (day shift)
