Job Summary
The Senior Solution Engineer in Net App’s Sales function plays a pivotal role in driving successful sales campaigns by applying strong customer engagement and technical expertise. This high-impact role offers significant growth opportunities while covering major accounts within the region. The position requires the ability to build long-term strategies, collaborate with channel partners and internal stakeholders (including Client Executives and District Managers), and support aggressive performance goals. Job Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Proven experience in presales, technical solution design, and proposal development.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Support, and Product Development.
- In-depth understanding of data storage, data protection, disaster recovery, and competitive market offerings.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to clearly convey and analyze technical information to support customer buying decisions.
- Strong grasp of how technology solutions address key business challenges.
- Capability to build and maintain relationships with key technical decision-makers and CXO-level stakeholders within major accounts.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Technical Presales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; a graduate degree is mandatory.
Job Responsibility
- Provide technical oversight to channel partners and customers to support sales campaigns, resolve issues, and achieve sales goals.
- Collaborate with the territory’s Client Executive to meet targets by developing both short‑term action plans and long‑term strategies for assigned accounts.
- Evangelize Net App’s value proposition within the assigned territory.
- Drive technical closure for sales opportunities by positioning Net App as the most suitable solution for customer needs.
