POSITIONSNAPSHOT

  • Working location: Nestlé Binh An Factory (Amata IZ, Dong Nai)
  • Working time: Mon-Fri (08:00 – 17:15)
  • Reporting line: R&D Manager

MAINJOB PURPORSE

    • Plan & execute Innovation & Renovation projects (local & inter-market supply, including new and improving exsiting product): to be launched on time, with effective cost, no major quality issues and in compliance with Nestlé and local regulations.
  • Supporting R&D team & cross-functional team for problem solving related to products, product and process improvement...
  • Proactive in supporting R&D and extended team regarding compliance, improvement and initiatives (Ideation workshop, competencies building, training, knowledge sharing...).
  • Coordinate with team for functional activities such as system (GREAT, SAP...), KPI, report, Simplex updates,...

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for studying possible production of new/improved products. Ensuring that the materials and products are used & manufactured in compliance with the local food regulations and Nestlé guidelines.
  • Responsible for developing new formula or re-formulating tasks (local & inter-market supply) in line with internal & external requirements. Improving the existing products by adjusting the formula, production process or raw material replacement, etc...
  • Responsible for conducting pilot/kitchen trials for initial process parameters, sensory evaluation and prototypes preparation for consumer test
  • Responsible for conducting industrial trials on the real processing line to ensure manufacturing feasibility for new product
  • Responsible for conducting industrial validation of material substitution or alternative supplier etc.… Contribute to qualify new and alternative raw materials/ suppliers regarding product performance and process feasibility
  • Work closely with cross-functional team to ensure the success of the first and second commercial lots.
  • Responsible for product samples and required information for TAA (local, central) and preparing technical documents for the FDA registration.
  • Responsible for studying shelf life of new product, organization of sensory evaluation for new product development and be a team member of sensory panel.
  • Responsible for creating/updating specifications, recipe on system such as RMPS of raw materials, RMS, GREAT, BOM, CAT, H2M, formula project, etc. ….and ensure that all document/system updated, recorded & complied with internal & external requirements.
  • Supporting cross-functional team for knowledge of material, product, technology and standard production practices.
  • Supporting R&D team & cross-functional team for problem solving related to products, product and process improvement. Coordinate for Simplex projects and responsible for update from Simplex
  • Coordinate for some activities as KPI, report, training, sharing knowledge with cross-functional team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proficient in English
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, with specific expertise in raw materials, recipe development, sensory evaluation, and trials conducted in kitchens or production lines
  • Mastery in product, process, and packaging, including a thorough understanding of materials and suppliers
  • Experience in managing complex projects and effective stakeholder engagement at various levels
  • Previous R&D experience in ready-to-drink (RTD) productsis mandatory
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, laboratory practices, chemistry, microbiology, statistics, technical audits, GLOBE/SAP, QMS, NGMP, HACCP, and cost awareness
  • Possess patience, autonomy, and a positive mindset
  • Demonstrated flexibility, accuracy, creativity, and logical thinking
