Motorola Solutions is a global leader in mission-critical technologies for public safety and national defense. By extending its legacy in land mobile radio with an expansive video security and AI analytics portfolio—spanning Avigilon, Pelco, and the rugged, long-range threat detection of Silent Sentinel—alongside advanced mesh networking (MANET) and RF intelligence, the company provides a resilient Safe Nation ecosystem. This unified approach empowers military, border security, emergency responders and critical national infrastructure to communicate securely in contested, infrastructure-less environments. By integrating intelligent, high-definition visual awareness with the ability to control unmanned systems via secure, high-bandwidth data, we enable agencies to detect, analyze, and respond to complex threats with unprecedented speed and clarity.

Based in our Singapore regional hub, you will lead the business strategy and market execution for Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, and select Frontier Markets.

This role requires an experienced executive who can balance between stewardship and aggressive scale. You will serve as the diplomatic face of the company in our most mature, established markets, while simultaneously architecting the expansion strategy in massive, high-growth emerging economies.

Key Responsibilities1. Executive Market Leadership & Strategy

  • Sovereign Sponsorship: Serve as the executive sponsor and primary strategic lead for major government, defense, and Tier-1 enterprise clients across the region.

  • Long-Term Market Shaping: Lead 3-to-5-year strategic planning initiatives, aligning Motorola Solutions’ advanced technological ecosystem (AI, Cloud, Video Analytics, and Mission-Critical Communications) with the national security and digitalization agendas of each country.

2. Accelerated Regional Growth & Deal Architecture

  • High-Growth Market Scaling: Drive the go-to-market strategy for rapidly expanding economies, particularly Indonesia. Navigate complex national procurement frameworks to embed our solutions into large-scale public safety, defense, and smart city infrastructure projects.

  • Mega-Deal Structuring: Architect and negotiate complex, multi-million-dollar technology deployments. Leverage expertise in sovereign financing, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), and Government-to-Government (G2G) deal structures to unlock major infrastructure budgets.

3. Team Empowerment & Talent Development

  • The Leader of Leaders: Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within a matrixed regional structure.

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Empower your local leaders to run agile and disciplined, day-to-day sales operations, while providing them with the executive leadership needed to close highly complex, multi-million dollar pursuits

4. Regional Governance & Operational Rigor

  • Portfolio Optimization: Manage a regional portfolio, decisively allocating specialized technical resources and investment across diverse geographies based on strategic priority and ROI.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Navigate the legal and commercial complexities of operating across both highly regulated mature markets and volatile frontier environments.

Basic Requirements:

What we are looking for:

  • Executive Regional Leadership: 15+ years of senior sales and business management experience in the B2B/B2G technology infrastructure sector, with a proven track record managing multi-country portfolios in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Mega-Deal Pedigree: Demonstrated success in leading the strategy, negotiation, and closure of highly complex, $50M+ national infrastructure or defense communications projects.

  • Sovereign-Level Gravitas: Exceptional executive presence and diplomatic skills. You are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, Ministry leaders, and key government decision-makers to drive consensus and strategic alignment.

  • Commercial & Compliance Acumen: Deep understanding of international trade regulations, cross-border commercial structuring, and global corporate compliance standards.

  • People Developer: A passionate coach with a history of identifying high-potential talent, building self-sustaining leadership teams, and driving organizational excellence.
