Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, One Drive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries.
Cloud Supply Chain Global Operations (CSGO) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help design the supply chain that powers the next generation of cloud and AI infrastructure.
- Define and own the global supply chain node strategy for cloud infrastructure, shaping the multi-year manufacturing, capacity, and network footprint required to support hyperscale growth.
- Lead long-range supply chain planning, translating infrastructure demand, technology roadmaps, and deployment plans into scalable manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
- Drive strategic network design and capacity expansion decisions, evaluating trade-offs across cost, resilience, speed-to-deploy, and global supply chain risk.
- Partner with senior leaders across Engineering, Planning, Sourcing, and Operations to align on long-term investments and build the supply chain capabilities required to scale the next generation of cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:

Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience.

Experience developing long-range supply chain or manufacturing network strategies, including capacity planning, global footprint optimization, and scaling operations to support rapid business growth.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain strategy, operations strategy, manufacturing strategy, or related roles within technology, infrastructure, hardware, or complex global supply chains.
- Experience developing long-range supply chain or manufacturing network strategies, including capacity planning, global footprint optimization, and scaling operations to support rapid business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leadership across engineering, planning, sourcing, finance, and operations organizations.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with experience using data-driven modeling, scenario analysis, and financial trade-off evaluation to guide executive decisions.
- Experience operating in large-scale, global environments with distributed manufacturing, supplier ecosystems, and high-growth infrastructure or technology businesses.
Supply Chain Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
