As a Cloud Solution Architect, you'll work closely with clients to deliver practical solutions that drive their business forward. CE&S is responsible for all up services across the company, including consulting, customer success, and support across Microsoft’s portfolio of solutions and products. Join CE&S and help us accelerate AI transformation for our customers and the world.     As a Cloud Solution Architect for Cloud & AI Applications, you will help customers take powerful, AI-enabled applications from initial concept through to production scale on Azure. In this customer-facing role, you’ll lead technical engagements spanning design, build, and operations, proactively removing blockers and driving adoption of Azure AI services, the application platform, and GitHub/Copilot. You will act as the accountable technical leader for key application scenarios, delivering excellence by deploying secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions—all built on repeatable IP and best practices. Through close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, from executives to developers, you’ll define target outcomes, architect robust solutions, and guide them through every stage to realization in production. In this position, you will lead the way in helping organizations harness the power of AI applications and intelligent agents to drive meaningful business outcomes. By utilizing proven delivery methods and scalable engagement models, you will accelerate Azure cloud adoption and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise will guide customers in transforming and optimizing their cloud applications, positioning them for long-term success in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with IT Executives and business leaders to shape their Cloud and AI strategy, acting as a technical advisor and champion for their success.
  • Lead architectural design sessions and guide the implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient solutions using Microsoft’s best practices and frameworks like Cloud adaption framework and Well-architected framework.
  • Drive technical excellence across Azure workloads, ensuring mission-critical workloads are optimized for performance, security, and production-scale AI readiness.
  • Accelerate customer outcomes by delivering repeatable IP, resolving technical blockers, and providing delivery oversight for key engagements.
  • Actively contribute to Microsoft’s technical communities by mentoring peers, sharing insights, and serving as a spokesperson in internal and external forums.
  • Inspire customer innovation by helping them adopt AI at scale, guiding them through their transformation journey with confidence and clarity.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously developing your skills, aligning with business priorities, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications (RQs) - Extensive hands-on experience in , building, and delivering cloud-native application AI/ML solutions at production scale, leveraging Azure AI services (including Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning and Azure AI Foundry), GitHub and GitHub Copilot, and Azure app platform services (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery of cloud-native AI applications to production, driving adoption through repeatable intellectual property (IP and alignment to defined business outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in secure, resilient, and optimized architecture practices for AI applications, applying Microsoft Well-Architected Framework (WAF), AI/infra landing zones, and best practices for mission-critical workloads.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders, facilitate architectural design sessions, and drive consensus across diverse teams.
  • Business level fluency in English and Finnish (Written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications (PQs) - Deep expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cosmos DB, and event-driven architectural patterns for scalable and resilient distributed systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with GitHub Advanced Security and secure DevOps practices for cloud-native AI workloads.
  • Active contributions to technical communities, development of reusable IP, and experience mentoring or enabling peers in cloud-native and AI domains.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience coordinating partner ecosystems or program delivery across multiple customer engagements, driving high-impact business outcomes and technical success at scale.   Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
