The Construction Project Manager (Progressive Build) is responsible for leading multi‑phase construction activities at Micron’s Clay, NY campus. This role manages schedule, cost, quality, and safety from pre‑construction through commissioning while ensuring full compliance with Micron standards and regulatory requirements. The position partners with architects, engineers, contractors, and operations teams to deliver production‑ready facilities using digital tools and progressive‑build methodologies.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

Lead multi‑phase construction projects from planning through execution, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and quality oversight.

Coordinate with cross‑functional partners, contractors, and vendors to align project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and Micron EHS standards.

Manage permitting, approvals, and interactions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
-
Utilize BIM, AI-enabled progress tracking, Procore, and other digital tools to drive project efficiency.

Lead coordination meetings, maintain clear communication, and provide project updates to leadership.

Ensure appropriate documentation exists for scope changes, field conditions, and project impacts.
How to Qualify:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale industrial or semiconductor construction projects.

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
-
Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and make decisions with minimal oversight.

Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
What Sets You Apart:

Certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent.

Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, BIM, and digital construction tools.

Background in facilities, base‑build, or cleanroom construction.

Strong negotiation, conflict‑resolution, and problem‑solving capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$107,000.00 - $241,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
