Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Contract Manufacturer on Supply assurance and Material On Time delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, procurement partners, and suppliers on global supply fulfillment and inventory management strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and stocking strategies are met.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement robust processes and systems to ensure efficient operations

  • Lead Capacity and Lead Time Management for Key commodities

  • Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships

  • Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts

  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.

Participate in Productivity Project:

  • Develop and implement robust processes and systems to ensure efficient operations to better business outcomes

  • Support site audits if any

Demonstrate Lead Role Specific Skills:

  • Ability to execute with excellence and a sense of urgency and ownership

  • Ability to embrace new ideas and ways of working and inspire others to do the same

  • Ability to role model Micron values in People, Collaboration, Tenacity, Innovation, customer focus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Purchasing or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain principles

  • Proven experience in supply management or related field

  • Proven track record in optimizing inventory and managing material availability

  • Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in Asia or other non-US locations is desirable but not a must.

  • Proven experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization

  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with suppliers
