As the Sr. Director, Mexico Country Head, you will lead Micron’s operations and strategic presence in Mexico, driving operational excellence, scalable growth, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global priorities. You will serve as Micron’s senior representative in Mexico, shaping a high‑performing, inclusive culture while engaging key government, industry, and community stakeholders during rapid site expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Micron’s Mexico operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, values, and governance.
  • Drive operational performance across productivity, quality, engagement, and financial outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary connection and escalation point between Mexico operations and global leadership.
  • Act as Micron’s senior external representative with federal, state, and local government, industry, and academic partners.
  • Lead executive-level government engagement, partnerships, and grant activities.
  • Serve as legal representative for Micron Semiconductor Mexico (MSM) and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
  • Own site-level financial and operational stewardship, including budgets, Cap Ex, real estate, and facilities.
  • Lead sustainable, multi-year site growth and support large-scale hiring and onboarding in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting and enabling a matrix engineering organization, balancing local site needs with global functional priorities.
  • Strong operations, engineering, manufacturing, or site leadership background with executive credibility.
  • Experience leading teams in Mexico; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Executive-level government and external stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading rapid growth, transformation, and large-scale operations.
  • Strong financial, compliance, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across cultures.
