As a Process Control Engineer at Micron Fab 10, you would have opportunity to build advanced process control, automation and analytics solutions, and run quality programs to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and yields. You will gain exposure and knowledge of many process areas in the fab as you assist them with their process control needs, and develop smart-manufacturing applications that integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques, and you may drive cross-functional programs to achieve quality goals through program management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with process teams to develop, implement and improve advanced control solutions for optimum manufacturing performances and anomaly detections
• Create manufacturing and business process automation tools for efficiency improvement.
• Understand and utilize manufacturing process data to apply statistical analysis or machine learning to identify problems and translate it into control/automation solutions.
• Work with a global team to maintain, align and improve process control applications and quality programs.
• Develop and deliver training on control systems and related topics.
• Manage quality programs or complex projects involving cross functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master/PHD’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/Chemical Eng/Computer/Statistics/Math/Mechanical/Material/Biomedical and with a passion for programming and data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Python or R
• Process control and statistical knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in big data system and common database solutions is desirable
• Proficiency in developing web application is desirable
• Ambitious and proactive individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
