The NAND Pathfinding Team thrives on building breakthrough ideas for the future of non‑volatile memory. We’re a small, highly skilled group working from silicon to system, collaborating across fields to create technology that pushes what’s possible.In this role, you’ll help shape the next generation of NAND by combining deep technical expertise with hands‑on design, prototyping, and experimentation. This is an opportunity to grow beyond a single subject area, work at the intersection of device, design, and system, and turn bold ideas into real innovations.

Responsibilities:- Develop and prototype new concepts addressing sophisticated, cross‑disciplinary challenges

• Collaborate with experts across silicon, design, architecture, and systems
• Lead experimental work, including characterization, simulation, and validation
• Drive projects from early conceptualisation through implementation
• Mentor technical contributors and help raise team capability

Minimum Qualifications:- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5–10 years of experience in NAND technology or NAND design
• Strong understanding of non‑volatile memory systems, NAND device physics, and layout/design principles
• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and motivation to learn across domains
• Experience contributing to both conceptual and hands‑on technology development

Preferred Qualifications:- Proven record of innovation shown through patents, publications, or conference work

• Experience working with cross‑functional and external experts
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Leadership experience guiding complex technical efforts
• Ability to empower and collaborate with peers across diverse abilities

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$140,000.00 - $298,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
