A Day in the Life
The Diabetes Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling Medtronic’s diabetes products and services within an assigned territory or specific customer accounts, aiming to achieve or exceed sales targets. This role involves building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and patient associations. The specialist will provide education on Medtronic’s products and pump therapy, organize and execute marketing events, and actively engage with diabetes societies and patient organizations. This position requires a proactive, learning-oriented approach, with a focus on improving patient care and raising awareness of innovative diabetes solutions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Promote and sell Medtronic's diabetes products and services within an assigned geographic area or specific customer accounts to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, patient associations, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide education on Medtronic’s products and pump therapy to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Plan, organize, and execute marketing events.
- Actively communicate and collaborate with diabetes societies and patient associations.
- Support patient training and awareness initiatives related to diabetes care and therapy.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Knowledge about the diabetes segment, including physicians and key stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the national reimbursement system of Bulgaria.
- Eagerness to learn and capable of contributing new marketing ideas.
- Master’s degree in biosciences or a related field.
