Title and Summary

Director, Consumer Marketing

The Director, Consumer Marketing- Philippines within the Southeast Asia Marketing team will lead Philippines Integrated Marketing and Comms across Consumer Marketing, B2B initiatives, Digital & Social, and Media channel strategies to drive Mastercard brand preference, engagement, and usage. This role is responsible for shaping and executing marketing strategies that strengthen Mastercard’s position in the Philippines market while aligning with regional priorities and accelerating direct-to-consumer impact.

Role

  • Develop and execute annual Country marketing plans and KPIs for the Philippines.

  • Engage internal stakeholders to align on B2C strategy, consumer value propositions, and business objectives.

  • Partner with Accounts, Merchant, and cross-functional teams to grow market share and drive consumer activation.

  • Apply consumer insights, segmentation, and behavioral data for effective multi-channel targeting.

  • Lead digital marketing innovation, optimizing campaigns across mobile, digital platforms, and emerging technologies to drive consumer engagement and conversion.

  • Manage social media content strategy, publishing calendar, and always-on consumer engagement across channels.

  • Deliver B2B2C with Issuers and Partners using Mastercard marketing assets and toolkits.

  • Ensure cohesive messaging and collaboration across global, regional, and local teams to elevate Mastercard’s B2C presence and brand relevance.

  • All About You

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Several years of marketing experience, including strong marketing leadership.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale consumer campaigns and delivering measurable business and brand results.

  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with demonstrated ability to drive consumer marketing performance.

  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, consumer journeys, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from consumer and market data.

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with the Philippines market, consumer landscape, and broader Southeast Asia regional dynamics.
