Vocalink
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Enterprise Change & Insights Team in Vocalink Limited, a Mastercard business, which provides Critical National Infrastructure to the UK.
- Vocalink is a UK company that enables the payments of 90% of salaries, 70% of utility bills, most ATM transactions and every cheque cleared in the UK.
- We provide services to over 60 million citizens, and the UK private, public and third sectors.
- . In 2025, we processed 14 billion transactions, with a value of more than £11 trillion.
- Vocalink products include Bacs Direct Credits, Bacs Direct Debits, Faster Payments, the LINK ATM network for cash withdrawals, and the Image Clearing Service (ICS) that supports cheque clearing.
Overview of Role:
The Vocalink Enterprise Change & Insights Team is hiring an experienced Business Insights Manager (Advanced Analytics) to shape and lead our enterprise wide insights capability. In this highly visible role, you will design and champion Vocalink’s Business Insights framework, transforming complex data into actionable intelligence that informs strategic decisions at Executive and Board level.
You will work across Vocalink Product, Operations, Technology, Security, and Risk & Controls teams to consolidate data, modernise reporting, and drive a culture of AI enabled automation, continuous improvement and innovation.
This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, uplift our data maturity, and deliver meaningful insights that support Vocalink’s business imperatives and priorities

Role:
- Define and embed an enterprise insights framework that improves data consistency, removes duplication, and enhances reporting across Vocalink ecosystem
- Establish scalable data models and robust analytical methodologies to create high quality insights.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline workflows and deliver efficiency.
- Champion innovative analytical tooling and automation techniques
- Review analytical trends and enterprise data to support strategic assessments and priorities.
- Produce clear, concise, and compelling reporting for senior governance forums, including the Vocalink Executive Committee and Board.
- Own and develop Vocalink’s centralised MI dashboards, continuously improving them as new data becomes available.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify, refine, and standardise key data sources.
- Build strong, influential relationships across the organisation.
- Lead enhancements to core data tools and applications to ensure they meet future business needs.
- Contribute to governance pack preparation and secretariat responsibilities when required
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Technology and Security and Risk & Controls teams to identify and enhance data where necessary
- Work closely with Data teams within Real Time Payments and Mastercard to align on tooling and techniques as appropriate
- Build effective and influential relationships with key stakeholders across Vocalink
All About You:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- Strong background in data visualisation (e.g., Power BI), analytical insight generation, and data driven reporting
- A curiosity around AI technology, tools and operating model opportunities
- Experience working in regulated financial services, particularly within risk, controls, or compliance environments.
- Ability to simplify complexity, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
- A strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
