The Opportunity:
As a key member of the Workforce Productivity Team, the Senior Consultant leads and supports workforce productivity initiatives using project and change management methodologies, facilitates teams, and drives optimization of workforce productivity. The role collaborates closely with operational and financial partners to analyze data, develop and interpret productivity metrics, and build organizational capability through the adoption of standardized tools and best practices.
The Senior Consultant guides groups to ensure alignment with organizational goals, governance standards, and sustainability objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison to system resources, the role supports leaders in proactively identifying and mitigating risks, addressing barriers, and escalating issues as needed. The position is accountable for team performance, measurable impact, timelines, and successful delivery of outcomes.
Job Summary:
Primary Responsibilities:
Contributes to the execution of departmental vision and enterprise strategies by identifying, leading, and implementing clinical and operational improvement opportunities. This role leads the identification of key performance measures, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives, driving the design and implementation of optimized workflows that enhance workforce productivity and positively impact patient experience.
-Educates and provides technical expertise to system employees and leaders in identifying key performance indicators linked and aligned with organizational strategic goals and performance targets.
-Develops quality, service, and financial metrics to assess the overall success of improvement efforts.
-Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodology to evaluate processes and systems, generate alternatives, and make recommendations to reduce waste, increase utilization, reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, and produce improved financial outcomes.
-Facilitates delivery of basic, intermediate, and advanced quality and service training modules to management and staff.
-Conducts analyses to identify and eliminate or minimize points of risks through process redesign.

Full-time Monday through Friday, standard business hours with some flexibility needed for meetings and observations.

Hybrid Work Model: Usually in office at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA three Wednesdays per month. Also on-site at the hospitals based on project needs.
