Our theory of impact focuses on recentering health care systems toward people and communities, where the majority of care is delivered at the primary care level through a people-centered approach. We do this through research, education, advocacy, and implementation science in collaboration with governments, community organizations, private sector partners, non-governmental organizations, and people with lived experience.
We are seeking a research assistant (RA) to support various global health delivery research projects within PGPHC. This will involve technical components, including developing research designs and implementation protocols, overseeing and conducting data collection and analysis and preparing manuscripts as well as project management to ensure timely execution of the workplans. The RA will also provide general administrative support for various projects, including for example, meeting and event coordination and award submissions. The candidate will have the opportunity for mentorship from BWH faculty with extensive experience in global health delivery research.
The candidate will need to be extremely organized and hardworking, and demonstrate passion to promote global health equity in their career. Standard knowledge of research design and analysis of data is required, as well as excellent communication skills. Willingness to learn about implementation science, co-design approaches to interventions and principles of person-centered care is needed. Experience living or working in low-resource settings and/or with marginalized communities is ideal. The position also includes opportunities for international travel.
