What You Can Expect
- Become a member of a world-class optical transceivers design and validation team in providing high performance calibrations, test methods and infrastructure for state-of-the-art optical communications transceiver modules.
- The job responsibilities include the development of calibration routines for optical devices, the development of optical transceiver performance validation tests, building and maintaining the appropriate testbeds with the associated software infrastructure. These tasks support products from the R&D phase all the way to high volume production.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10+ years of related professional experience. Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of Optical Communications: Proficiency from system to component level.
- Familiarity with Optical Module Metrics: Understanding key performance indicators.
- Hands-on Experience: Expertise in coherent communication systems.
- Programming & Automation: Proficiency in Python, with demonstrated experience in test automation (required)
- Hardware Debugging: Ability to bring up and debug optical/electronic hardware.
- Team Player: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP).
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
154,240 - 231,000, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
