Role Title:

Connected Commerce/e Commerce Acceleration Lead

Location:

Melbourne, Vic

Hours:

Full-time, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Mars Pet Nutrition is on a journey to accelerate e Commerce across ANZ — and this role is right at the centre of it. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the ANZ Customer e Commerce strategies aligned to broader business goals which will be focused on driving performance through digital channels while delivering seamless digital experiences for pet parents and consumers.

As our Connected Commerce (e Commerce) Acceleration Lead, you’ll be able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive growth, you will know what online growth levers to pull and you will partner with key stakeholders like sales, marketing, and supply teams in order to deliver the plan.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the evolution & delivery of customer and channel growth roadmaps (including Amazon and Online Grocery) to accelerate e Commerce performance by identifying and driving key online performance levers across Digital Shelf, Retail Media, Shopper Experience, Operational Excellence etc.
  • Monitor & diagnose performance, translating diverse data sources (scan, clickstream, media data) into insights that drive action while clearly defining measures of success
  • Act as the connector between e Commerce, sales, marketing, supply, and other key partner functions to drive online performance
  • Operate as a subject matter expert in retailer-led e Commerce, partnering closely with key customers to deliver joint digital plans
  • Develop & lead an engagement plan across the business to drive internal focus on digital acceleration
  • Build capability across the business by embedding new ways of working, dashboards and forums
  • Drive test-and-learn initiatives to unlock growth across the full digital funnel

What you’ll bring

  • Solid experience in retailer-led e Commerce, focused on growth and acceleration
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple functions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Experience assimilating extensive amounts of detailed data (scan, media, digital store, shopper metrics etc.) to see the big picture, providing actionable and influential recommendations to drive meaningful impact
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work across online and offline channels
  • Confidence operating in complexity — making assumptions, using judgement and moving forward with imperfect data
  • Knowledge of Amazon, online grocery or platform-based retail strongly preferred
