This AI Platform/ Model Developer Role will be a part of the Mars Snacking NA Supply Center of Excellence team. This role is accountable for building scalable, reliable AI capabilities that are incubated within NA Supply Chain, but designed to scale across the enterprise, integrating directly with core systems and progressing solutions from MVP to business-as-usual.
This role will work closely with the AI Catalyst team, comprised of functional subject matter experts, to help guide AI deployments across supply functions and systems, for the North America region.
The Supply Center of Excellence team supports the end-to-end supply chain systems, processes, and capability building. The AI Developer will drive AI solutions across Planning, Logistics, Order Management, and Internal/External Manufacturing.
This position will play a key role in enabling the Supply ecosystem into the ever-evolving world of Generative AI. It will help plan and execute across varying types of use cases, to help drive efficiencies, savings and key decision making. It will help create and define frameworks, guidelines and standards to make sure that Mars Snacking is taking full advantage of market-leading AI tools.
What are we looking for?

Minimum of a bachelor’s in computer science, operations research, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or related field. Masters preferred.

Minimum 5 years' experience in a comparable technical role, preferably within complex, regulated, or large-scale enterprise environments.

Demonstrated knowledge of Supply chain.

Strong experience working with modern AI platforms and data integration frameworks.

Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms preferred.

Hands-on experience with data pipelines for models and solutions

Proven track record of delivering value through AI/ Data Science products in a fast-paced, agile environment using a scalable and reusable codebase and models to address business problems effectively.

Direct experience in building Agents and leveraging emerging technologies within Microsoft and Google to design an agentic ecosystem.

Experience ensuring compliance with analytics standards, including tailoring methodologies to specific use case needs such as ML, AI, and descriptive analytics.

Ability to translate business needs into analytical frameworks & superior verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency and hands-on experience in advanced analytics techniques and machine learning algorithms, including NLP, time-series analysis and other relevant methods and willingness to coach data scientists tactically.

Ability to travel 30% dependent on project demands.

Apply strong expertise in AI through use of machine learning, data mining, and statistical models to design, prototype and build next generation ML engines and services

Own AI solution design, platform integration, and deployment standards, serving as the primary technical authority for AI capabilities within North America Supply.

Use machine learning techniques, optimization, simulation, visualizations, & statistical analysis to gain insight into various data sets – some readily available, and some you create and curate yourself

Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic and scalable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products

Solution ideation and Development: Guide a team of data scientists and functional experts to create fit for purpose solutions using cutting edge analytical and AI methodologies.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 153,600.00 - USD 211,200.00
