What We Can Offer

At Maersk, we’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, heard, and able to be themselves. Our team members come from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we value the unique strengths each person contributes.

  • A highly strategic product leadership role with full accountability for First Mile and Depot product performance in Canada
  • Ownership of a complex, high‑value portfolio with true P&L responsibility and direct impact on margins and growth
  • The opportunity to build and scale a depot product offering within the Canadian market

  • Define and execute the product strategy for First Mile transportation, including rail, brokerage, and asset‑based containerized solutions
  • Develop and launch the Depot product in Canada, including product design, pricing strategy, vendor selection, and go‑to‑market approach
  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively address margin erosion through data‑driven analysis and market insight
  • Partner closely with Operations to ensure product strategies are executable, scalable, and commercially sustainable
  • Work with Commercial and Pricing teams to strengthen value propositions, win rates, and customer adoption
  • Act as the senior product leader and front‑facing representative for First Mile and Depot offerings within the Canada Area
  • Influence cross‑functional teams through clear strategy, strong communication, and visible leadership, despite no direct line management
  • Leverage technology, analytics, and digital tools to optimize product performance and support continuous product evolution

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset:

we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day

  • Extensive experience within First Mile or landside transportation in Canada, including rail and trucking environments
  • Demonstrated success owning and managing a full P&L, with accountability for both growth and profitability
  • Strong product leadership capability, with experience developing, scaling, or transforming transportation products
  • High financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to translate data into clear strategic decisions
  • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Solid understanding of operational and commercial levers within logistics and transportation markets
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and building structure in emerging or under‑defined product areas
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education is an advantage
