Sales Executive
As a Sales Executive, you will hold a commercial role focused on developing and growing strategic commodity customer relationships across the North Europe Continent. You will act as a trusted partner to your customers, driving sustainable growth, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end logistics solutions in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Further develop the relation with some of our key commodity customers in North Europe Continent.
- Build a network with the customer’s global offices to unlock new opportunities and maintain a professional relation with all their key stakeholders around the globe.
- Be the voice of customers, actively engaging internal stakeholders (customer experience, operations, finance and our management team) to resolve any issues and increase customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop business in line with our global strategy
- In collaboration with Customer Experience, ensuring awareness and high utilization of our whole array of E-Commerce tools and platforms to create the most efficient and effective customer engagement.
- Internally manage and maintain the selling process via our CRM systems (Salesforce.com), including sales pipeline, opportunity management, contract negotiations and filing, and account planning.
- Proactive contract management: renewal of rates, space allocations management, and maintaining side terms (T&C) as well as credit agreements.
- Consult customers on business relevant market developments and changes and proactively collect market intel for feedback to various internal stakeholders.
- Be a team player - exchange ideas and views with your colleagues, contribute to team meetings and ensure your voice is being heard
Who we are looking for
- A motivated professional that is eager to listen, sell and build a strong internal and external network
- It is preferable that the individual has a good understanding of the global commodity market, shipping industry and logistics processes with an education background in Shipping, Logistics, Economics or Marketing.
- The individual has a sense of urgency while remaining accurate in stressful situations and proactively thinking about solutions
- The individual should be fluent in English, both verbally and written, have good presentation and Microsoft Office skills (Well-versed in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), good understanding and ability to easily learn and work with live online systems (Salesforce.com experience a plus).
- A candidate with strong influencing and consultative selling skills
- The individual has a high affinity to online way of working, CRM systems, multi stakeholder processes in global scale, and international corporations.
- The ideal candidate is a team player, extrovert and possesses strong communication skills, both in Face-to-face meetings, via telephone and in written.
- The individual is a self-starter, able to take ownership, and is willing to go the extra mile for the team and the customers, as basis to build long term relationships and to win together.
