About the Role:
The Cold Chain Business Development Manager for WCSA Area is responsible to drive Cold chain Logistics by developing strong vertical value propositions, enabling Sales to win in the market, and expanding CCL product penetration by building innovative solutions as per market needs.
This role plays a key part in shaping and executing product strategy, driving commercial performance, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams — including product, sales, customer service, execution and marketing — to ensure the successful development, launch, and continuous improvement of solution offerings. This position will also be responsible for guiding a team of professionals, fostering talent development, and ensuring best-in-class execution.
Drive initiatives for boost our CCL Pipeline, in line with the main Area Campaigns and Seasons; with a high level of commercial and market understanding, to ensure effective growth plan.
Support Product managers & Regional Business development roles by identifying trend opportunities/needs in the market, supporting in defining value propositions; and aligning with the different stakeholders to ensure correct execution of Campaigns/Seasons in West Coast South America to reach our growth target.
Key responsibilities:

Identify market trends, customer needs, and vertical opportunities to fuel growth based on innovative solutions.

Support Sales in growing CCL pipeline, aligned with Area/Regional campaigns, seasons, and priorities.

Translate customer and market needs into scalable, repeatable, and profitable solutions.

Enable Sales to win through clear solution narratives, pricing logic, and commercial guidance.

Support strategic opportunities, RFIs/RFQs, and key customer engagements.

Lead alignment across Sales, Product, Operations, Customer Service, Execution, Technology, and Marketing.

Act as escalation point for solution‑related issues impacting customers or execution.
-
Ensure solutions are delivered in line with operational capabilities and customer expectations.

Lead, coach, and develop team capabilities where applicable.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, pricing governance, and service standards.

Lead the strategic planning and execution of product/solutions strategies within the area, ensuring alignment with global and regional business priorities.

Act as a key point of escalation for product-related issues, ensuring effective problem solving and alignment across functions.
We are looking for:

10+ years in logistics, with strong exposure to Cold Chain / Reefer logistics.

Proven experience in business development, product and/or supply chain management roles.

Strong ability to work independently and autonomously, proactively drive results, ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders across functions.

Solid business and analytical acumen.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong project management capabilities, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

Fluent in Spanish and English.
-
Availability for Area/regional travel when required.

Based in Chile (hybrid model: 3 days in office / 2 remote, subject to company policy).
