Purpose
Drive sustainable growth of the Airfreight portfolio across Southeast Asia by managing and expanding strategic customer accounts. This role focuses on strengthening customer partnerships, ensuring consistent operational excellence across multiple countries, and unlocking value through integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Partnership & Customer Acquisition:

Partner closely with Sales teams to co-develop and win customers, actively supporting in customer engagements, pitches, and solution design

Act as a client-facing commercial expert, bringing Airfreight product knowledge into sales conversations to strengthen value propositions

Support Sales in new business acquisition and key account expansion, with a strong focus on commercial outcomes

Collaborate on strategic account planning, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Airfreight capabilities
Commercial & Product Expertise:

Bring a strong hybrid sales (70%) and product (30%) mindset, combining commercial drive with deep product understanding

Translate customer requirements into end-to-end, competitive solutions, leveraging understanding of cargo dynamics and market conditions

Act as a bridge between Product, Sales, and Operations, ensuring solutions are both commercially viable and operationally executable
Pricing, RFQs & Market Competitiveness

Lead and support pricing strategies, RFQs, and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer expectations

Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate cost structures, margins, and pricing competitiveness

Work closely with internal stakeholders to structure winning bids and optimise commercial outcomes

Leverage data and tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track pipeline, performance, and conversion rates
-
Utilize analytics to generate insights and continuously improve commercial effectiveness
-
Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine strategies
What We Are Looking For
-
A seasoned professional with at least 8-10 years of experience with a strong background in Airfreight sales, freight forwarding, or commercial roles, in the freight forwarding industry

Experience in client-facing roles, including customer presentations, solutioning, and commercial negotiations

Strong understanding of pricing, RFQs, and market dynamics in Airfreight

Experience managing or supporting key accounts, with the ability to bridge commercial and operational aspects

Highly analytical, with strong numerical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across a matrix organisation

Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce; knowledge of Cargo Wise and Power BI is an advantage
-
Leadership experience is a plus, but high-potential individual contributors are also welcome
