APM Terminals has the temporary operation of Port of Balboa, one the largest terminals in Americas with container, dry bulk and Roro operations.

We are looking for a Environmental Lead.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Contribute to the implementation of responsibilities related to compliance with the Environmental Management, Contingency, and Environmental Management Plan across all departments and divisions.
• Develop and implement protocols, procedures, manuals, training, and programs for the continuous improvement of environmental management within the company.
• Administer and evaluate environmental compliance reports submitted to the relevant authorities.
• Monitor, evaluate, and track the performance of environmental management programs, both in the operational phase and in projects.
• Provide support and review investigations of incidents or accidents related to environmental management.
• Provide support in the development of training on environmental management procedures and policies.
• Manage and analyze statistics, controls, and updates to documentation related to environmental management programs.

We expect you to have

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Environmental Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree in environmental management (preferred)
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in related positions.
• Continuous improvement and process-driven mindset, lean is a differential.
• Excellent English and Spanish written and verbal communication.
