Key Responsibilities
- Monitor workload, schedules, and tasks of the transport team, providing clear direction and fostering safety awareness.
- Coordinate with clients to meet transportation KPIs and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Implement cost-efficiency measures and drive process improvements for seamless workflows.
- Manage transportation databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with the vendor management team and provide feedback on transporter performance.
- Coordinate with transporters to resolve delivery issues and ensure proper POD documentation.
- Oversee effective use of OTM for planning and execution.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Logistics or Transportation).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics transport operations and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking); business correspondence preferred.
- Knowledge of transport management systems (OTM), Loading Instructions (LI), Delivery Notes (DN), and transport procedures.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
