SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management (xECM) at Luxoft (DXC)

Job Description:

The SAP xECM Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Open Text xECM solutions integrated with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA). You will lead technical workshops, configure business workspaces, and ensure seamless document management across modules like MM, PM, SD, or HR.

Key Responsibilities1. Solution Design & Configuration

• Business Workspaces:

Configure and maintain xECM Business Workspaces, ensuring metadata synchronization between SAP and Open Text Content Suite.

• Content Server Management:

Hands-on configuration of Open Text Content Server (folders, categories, attributes, and classifications).

• Integration:

Manage the SAP Archive Link and OTEX VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) integrations if applicable.

2. Technical Implementation

• Document Pipelines:

Set up and troubleshoot document archiving pipelines and imaging services.

• UI Integration:

Implement xECM widgets within SAP Fiori, SAP GUI, and the Open Text Smart View.

• Security:

Define and manage Permission Groups, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and roles across both SAP and Open Text environments.

3. Strategic Consulting

• Requirement Gathering:

Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to map document-centric processes.

• Upgrades:

Assist in the migration and upgrade of Open Text versions (e.g., from 16.x to 2x.x).

• Best Practices:

Advise on records management, retention policies, and data privacy (GDPR) within the content repository

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience:

4–5 years of dedicated experience in SAP xECM by Open Text.

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Certifications (Preferred):

  Open Text Content Server Consultant Certification.

• SAP Certified Application Associate

• SAP S/4HANA.

• Soft Skills:

Strong analytical mindset, ability to translate "business talk" into technical specs, and experience in Agile project environments.

• Experience with Success Factors integration (xECM for Success Factors).
