Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Brand Advocate partners with strategic suppliers and Online Merchants to optimize brand-focused digital customer experiences on Lowes.com through advanced analytics, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership. This role leverages data insights, customer behavior analysis, and digital performance diagnostics to influence online sales, traffic, and conversion while strengthening supplier relationships and brand growth.
Serving as a strategic thought partner to brand and merchant leadership, the Senior Manager translates complex data into actionable plans that improve assortment productivity, content effectiveness, promotional impact, inventory health, and returns performance. This leader works closely with Merchandising, Digital, IT, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure brand initiatives and launches are supported by strong analytics and executed with operational excellence. The role leads and develops a team of managers, elevating analytical capability and execution rigor within the Brand Advocate organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities Brand Performance & Analytics:
Analyze brand-level KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV, content engagement, inventory health, and returns to identify growth opportunities and operational gaps.
Conduct advanced performance diagnostics using SQL, Adobe Analytics, and visualization tools to perform funnel analysis and root cause analysis.
Guide SEO keyword analysis and digital content optimization to improve brand visibility and drive incremental traffic.
Strategic Brand Partnership
Serve as a strategic thought partner to supplier and merchant leadership by translating analytics into actionable brand growth initiatives.
Develop and lead executive-level presentations aligning on performance insights, priorities, and execution plans.
Build and maintain strong relationships with brand leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align on shared business goals.
Operational Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead project plans for launches, promotional events, assortment expansions, and content enhancements to ensure timely and effective execution.
Partner with IT PMO, UX, Digital, and Category teams to support system enhancements and functional improvements.
Identify customer journey pain points and drive improvements in content accuracy, taxonomy, discoverability, and post-purchase experience.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop managers and their teams, fostering accountability and performance ownership.
Elevate analytical acumen across the team by strengthening dashboard usage, reporting rigor, and data interpretation skills.
Inspire a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on measurable outcomes.
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Experience with major consumer brands in digital retail environments
Certifications in analytics tools or digital marketing platforms (optional)
Years of Experience
10+ years in Online/Retail Merchandising, Vendor Management, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, or related field
Required Skill Set:
Technical Skills (Advanced Application)
Advanced Excel proficiency:
Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and diagnostics
Experience with Adobe Analytics or comparable web analytics platforms
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Strong KPI development, funnel analysis, and root cause analysis capability
Functional Skills
E-commerce and digital merchandising expertise
Vendor management and supplier relationship leadership
SEO and online content optimization knowledge
