Description:

Lockheed Martin’s Supplier Quality organization relies on data driven insight to ensure every component we receive meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. As a Supplier Quality Data Analyst, you will collect, cleanse, and analyze supplier quality data (nonconformances, supplier corrective action request (SCARs), source inspection, supplier approvals and other supplier related metrics) and translate those numbers into actionable stories that reduce risk, improve supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing’:

Data Acquisition & Governance:

1. Identify, ingest, and validate internal & external supplier quality data sources (Apriso and S/4).
2. Maintain data quality pipelines; resolve data integrity issues within the systems.
3. Document data lineage, data dictionary definitions, and change control procedures for all quality related datasets.

Analysis & Insight Generation:

4. Perform statistical analysis (control charts, hypothesis testing, regression) to detect trends, root causes, and early warning signals in supplier quality performance.
5. Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) that surface key quality KPIs such as DPMO, First Pass Yield, Supplier On Time Delivery and Quality Scorecard

Corrective Action Effectiveness.
6. Translate complex analytical findings into concise narratives, executive briefings, and visual story boards for non technical stakeholders (program managers, sourcing, engineering).

Metrics & Reporting:

7. Define, track, and report on the Supplier Quality KPI portfolio.
8. Provide ad hoc data extracts and analysis for supplier audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects.

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

9. Partner with Supplier Quality Engineers, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to prioritize analytical requests and align data solutions with business goals.
10. Lead small scale data project initiatives (e.g., automating NCR trend reporting) and coordinate resources to meet cost and schedule targets.
11. Coach cross functional teams on data interpretation best practices and promote a data driven culture within the Supplier Quality organization.

The candidate will also provide secondary support for Central Supplier Quality (CSQ) Core Operations such as ZQUALs, PO Overrides, QR text key changes and system troubleshooting

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

U.S. citizenship is required for access to classified supplier systems)

 5+ years of professional data‑analysis experience and a related bachelors degree or equivalent combined education/experience

Advanced Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, VBA)
Tableau (dashboard creation, data‑source integration)
SQL for querying relational databases
Power BI or creating interactive data visualization dashboards
Familiarity with supplier‑quality frameworks (ISO 9001/AS 9100)

  • Communication
  • Proven ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and produce clear documentation (data‑flow diagrams, process maps)

Desired Skills:

Experience with supplier related Apriso and S/4 tiles
Experience with Python-R programming
Familiarity with AI machine learning concepts and can demonstrate knowledge on the topic

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
