You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Industrial Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering innovative production solutions that drive efficiency and cost‑effectiveness across the enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Industrial Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for developing production operation estimates, tracking cost and schedule performance, and leading process‑improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Generate accurate production operation estimates and capacity assessments.


• Track and analyze cost, schedule, and performance trends.


• Develop and maintain cost models to support decision‑making.


• Identify and execute cost‑reduction and process‑improvement projects.


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Finance-related field or similar.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel,
Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Experience creating labor estimates and learning curve application.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to create and deliver presentations to leadership.
- Experience using SAP ERP system.
- Experience with FAR proposals and creation of BOEs (Basis of Estimate).
- CAM (Control Account Manager) certified.
- Experience or education in manufacturing.
- Experience in data analytics and/or creating tableau dashboards.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
