THE WORK
As the MH-60R Final Assembly Manager, you will lead the production and performance of ourfinal assembly line on 1st shift. You will:
Provide strategic and operational direction to meet cost, schedule, and quality goals.
Drive safety, 6S, standard work, and EHS compliance throughout the production line.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement using ACE tools to transform build positions.
Implement new technologies and best practices to optimize the production process.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and resource planning—including future planning for international aircraft builds.

Basic Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

Strong knowledge of production scheduling, quality systems, and budget management.

Experience driving process improvements and leading cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in union settings.

Ability to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Desired Skills:

Experience with rotorcraft or aviation assembly.
Familiarity with ACE, 6S, or similar lean manufacturing methodologies.
Background in managing facilities and/or equipment readiness.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
