Description: You will be the Contracts Negotiation Sr Staff for the Contracts Management Team. Our team is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end contract solutions that enable the PAC‑3 production program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Contracts Negotiation Sr Staff you will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, providing expert advice to cross‑functional partners, and ensuring contractual compliance.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for the PAC‑3 development program.

    • Advise program management, finance, legal, engineering, and other functions on contractual strategy and risk.

    • Conduct negotiations and manage contract terms, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

    • Coordinate with customers and internal/external audit teams to resolve contractual issues and address performance concerns.

    • Generate contractual data reports and support training initiatives on contract practices.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires  selected candidate to have the ability to possess a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate would have 8+ years of related
    experience and may have a post-secondary
    degree or training in a related discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree required at a minimum
  • Experience in all aspects of the contract life
    cycle including proposals, negotiations,
    administration
    throughout performance, and contract close-
    out.
  • Managerial or other significant leadership
    experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a security
    clearance.
  • Proficient in the FAR and DFAR and the
    application of the laws in DOD contracting.
  • Familiarity with the ECE (Electronic
    Contracting Environment), IWTA system and
    their governing policies and procedures.
    adherence to Delegation of Authority and
    approval requirements for proposals and
    contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as
    appropriate, with internal and external audit
    teams and agencies to support contract-related
    activities and verify compliance. Ensure final
    contract documents are consistent with
    agreements reached at negotiations. May plan
    and participate in training of contract practices
    within Company. Collect contractual data and
    compiles reports in response to Corporate and
  • Business Area requests.
  • Experience working with the Department of Defense.
  • Experience protecting intellectual property.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience within a Lockheed Martin

Finance and Business Operations organization:

is highly desired.

  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
  • The candidate must possess the ability to
    influence positive business outcomes with fact
    reason, and the ability to convey the
    company’s positions both orally and via
    exceptional writing skills.
  • This is a highly visible role often involving
    face-to-face negotiations with U.S. Government
    Customers (both Military and civilian). As
    such, the successful candidate must possess
    exceptional bearing and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to develop internal and
    external relationships.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
