As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will have a significant impact on the company's global operations and success. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is crucial for the smooth flow of cross-border transactions. By developing and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures, you will contribute to minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods across borders.
You will report directly to our Sr Trade Compliance Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Develop and implement duty drawback policies and procedures to ensure adherence to duty drawback regulations.
Manage and oversee duty drawback procedure, including HTS classification, and customs documentation.
Conduct internal duty drawback audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, and sanctions.
Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, and compliance audits.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customs authorities and regulatory agencies. WE VALUEBachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in trade compliance.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely compliance.
Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
