Your New Role and Responsibilities

As the PMO Analyst, you will join a high-performing program team within the Civil Line of Business where your experience can add value to the delivery of critical outcomes for our programs.

This opportunity is to support multiple programs, providing central coordination and acting as a key enabler of effective program delivery. In this role, you will contribute across a broad range of PMO services, performing moderate to complex administrative, coordination, and governance activities.

This is a 12 month maximum tenure contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including tool support and ongoing enhancements for the Program.

• Coordinate governance and process uplift activities across stakeholders and workstreams, including managing the internal business change request process and facilitating weekly Board meetings.

• Undertake project management stage gate reviews in alignment with the delivery framework and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.

• Provide comprehensive administrative and information management support, including establishing, maintaining, and improving structured filing systems and ensuring efficient access to program information.

• Act as a key PMO point of contact by managing the shared mailbox, supporting team members, maintaining effective office systems, and supporting communications, document, and data management activities, along with other duties as required.

About You and What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and their application within a large organisation, supported by relevant education and practical experience.

• Proactive approach with the ability to understand business needs, identify issues, and build effective relationships to achieve objectives.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 (including Share Point or willingness to self-learn) and strong capability across Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing priorities, maintain high attention to detail, and deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments.

• Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrate initiative, and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum Baseline level security clearance.
