In Australia, we operate a select, highly skilled, internationally diverse engineering team, providing engineering and design advisory services to Australia's naval programs, and maritime autonomy system development. Our team holds expertise across naval architecture, marine engineering, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, engineering consulting and acquisition program management.

Your New Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms, ensuring alignment with operational, safety, and sustainment needs.

• Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design, working closely with engineering and project teams.

• Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project, ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle.

• Assist in the development of safety-critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long-term platform operation.

• Be based in Canberra or Newcastle

What You’ll Bring to Make an Impact

• Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering, ideally within maritime, defence, or complex engineering environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.

• Knowledge of reliability engineering, safety engineering, or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded).

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a baseline security clearance and willing to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
