About the role

L3Harris IMSA are seeking a Field Engineer to support the Navigational Display Systems (NDS) Program. The Field Engineer will act as the deployed SME to provide technical support for projects, commercial customers and in service support functions. Duties will be to support the Operational, Maintenance and Supply Services, along with maintenance activies in Quality Management and HSE. Some responsibilities will see you travel to customer vessels/rig as required for trials, field service, installaitons and operator training., along with reporting and updating the configuration database.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage opportunities that L3Harris will provide, some of the skills & qualifications ideal applicants will bring include.

• Electronics/electrical qualification
• Dogging and Rigging licence (desirable)
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues across a variety of systems and networks
• Willing and able to work at sea - experience preferable
• Ability to travel interstate when required and flexibility with hours
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• You will have the ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
