Job Summary: The IT Digital Business Partner Lead serves as the primary strategic liaison between the IT Division and business units within L'Oréal Vietnam. This role is crucial for identifying, developing, and implementing digital solutions that align with business objectives and global IT strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, acting as a trusted advisor to translate business needs into impactful digital initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and value realization. This position moves beyond traditional technical IT management to focus on strategic business partnership and digital transformation leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Solution Leadership:

  • Lead the identification, scoping, and initiation of digital projects from a business perspective, ensuring alignment with local market priorities and global IT strategies.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare business cases, and perform financial analysis for emerging market demands.

  • Expertly capture and articulate complex business requirements for digital solutions.

  • Translate complex business needs into actionable digital opportunities with cleartechnicalspecificationsfor developmentteamandwithmeasurable outcomes.

  • Oversee project execution from planning to delivery, ensuring business outcomes, user adoption, and operational readiness.

  • Drive the adoption of new digital solutions within business units byfacilitatingtraining, communication, and post-implementation support, ensuring users gain maximum value.

  • Apply best practices in project, change, and service management to ensuretimely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.

  • Understand the global L'Oréal IT strategy and differentiate capabilities across global, zone, and local applications.

  • Promote the “Global First” mindset by advocating forglobal and zone-standard solutions; ensure local adaptations are justified, value-driven, and compliant with IT governance and security standards.

  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies (AI, CRM, omnichannel, data platforms) and assess their relevance to L’Oréal Vietnamwhile ensuring alignmentwith L'Oréal's overall IT strategy

  • Support global and zone digital transformation initiatives by driving market-level engagement and execution.

  • Coordinate with global/ zone/ local support team to resolve system incidents and fulfill enhancement requests

  • Coordinate and implement security measuresensureall solutionscomply withL’Oréal’s cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory standards.

Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key business stakeholders across divisions and corporate functions, acting as a strategic advisor on digital initiatives and IT value creation.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to uncover pain points, strategic priorities, and digital opportunities, translating these into actionable IT plans that support business growth and transformation.
  • Facilitate regular alignment sessions with business leaders to review digital roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and ensure shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Deliver transparent and structured communication on project progress, risks, dependencies, and business impact to all relevant stakeholders, including the Management Committee.
  • Drive stakeholder accountability by ensuring business teams are actively involved in project scoping, decision-making, andchangemanagement processes.

Vendor Management: Manage operational relationships with technology vendors involved in specific projects, ensuring their deliverables meet project requirements and comply with L'Oréal's standards, including security and service level agreements.

  • Supervise the deliverables of ITconsultants,contractors.

Ensure service delivery and consistency of all systems and excellent customer experience is wellmaintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, ora relatedfield.
  • Minimum of 7-10years of experience in a lead role focused on digital project management, business analysis, or IT business partnering.
  • Proventrack recordof successfully leading and driving digital projects using various methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall),focusing on business outcomes rather than just technical delivery.
  • Strong practical understanding of digital technologies,coupled with the ability to understand L'Oréal's IT strategy and differentiate capabilities at global, zone, and local levels.
  • Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes,identifypain points, and propose relevant, value-driven digital solutions.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and act as a trusted advisor, fostering an environment of mutual trust and respect with business partners.
  • Strategic mindset with a clear understanding of digital trends and their application in a business context.
  • Experience with or a foundational understanding of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial
  • Experience working in a global or multi-national environment, with anunderstanding of global IT governance and shared services models.
  • Experience in vendor management for specific projects
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is a significant plus.
  • Proficiencyin English (written and spoken) is essential.
